The officer assigned to recruiting utilizes media advertising, off-site recruitment, personal contacts, communication with centers of influence (i.e. churches, NAACP, Urban League, recreation centers, Sanderlin Center), mail-outs, and solicitation from present employees to market the department and recruit police employees.
