- Eligible to be promoted to sergeant after 3 years of service, after completing probation. Credit can be given for up to 2 years of prior law enforcement experience. Promotions are based upon a competitive exam; 60 college credits are required.
- Detective Positions: The department has an estimated 100 detective positions. Application for these positions are available after completion of probation.
- Off Duty Assignments: Available upon completion of Field Training and with the approval from your supervisor.
