Update: Arrest in Shooting at 1701 Central Avenue

Investigators arrested Devon Spierling-Linton for attempted murder in the 1st degree.

He and the victim are in a domestic relationship. The victim remains in critical condition.

At 8:11 a.m. officers were called to an apartment at 1701 for a report of a person shot.

When they arrived, they learned that two adult men, who are roommates at that location, got into an altercation.

One man shot the other and remained on scene for officers.

The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The suspect is detained.
