Burglary UPDATE!!

Detectives need help identifying a person who may know the man responsible for stealing valuable items from Andrea and Friends Antique Mall on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North.

The two men were seen together on surveillance video shortly after the business burglary occurred Nov. 11. (New link of video and photos of both men and their interaction.)

On that day, an unidentified white man hid inside the store until the end of business. Once closed, he crawled through the business before he took several valuable items, including sterling silver serving pieces and vintage fountain pens with an estimated value of about $18,000.

The person of interest was described as an Asian man, who was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, gray pants, and gray shoes. He arrived in a maroon Honda Accord.

Detectives described the unidentified burglar as an older white man, about 6 foot tall, heavy build, bow-legged, and walks with a distinctive waddle. Detectives say he may be involved in other local burglaries.
