The victim has died of his injuries.
Victim: Me'Arri M. Melton, DOB 4-1-2000, of St. Petersburg.
Police are still actively investigating.
20th Avenue South between 48th and 49th Street remains closed to traffic.

Police Officers are investigating a shooting that happened just before 8:30.
A 19 year old man was shot somewhere in the 4800 block of 20th Avenue South.
He made it to a nearby home where paramedics were called. He is now in critical condition.
