Volunteers - Administrative/Resource Center - Overview

Administrative volunteers qualification requirements

Administrative Volunteer Team

The administrative volunteer program was established in 1984 to assist police officers and department personnel with clerical and supportive roles throughout the agency.

Community Resource Center Volunteer

In 1992, the St. Petersburg Police Department set out to develop a partnership with neighborhood associations and community residents to augment the agency's community policing philosophy. This partnership has become the catalyst by which information and services are disseminated. Resource center volunteers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the four Community Resource Centers that are currently operating in the City of St. Petersburg.
