Since 1903 when the police department was officially born, 15 police officers have lost their lives in the line of duty. The first officer to die was the first Chief of Police James A. Mitchell who was killed in 1905.
These pages are dedicated to the men and women of the St. Petersburg Police Department who gave their lives protecting those they served.
We will remember you -- always.
