An arson occurred last night, September 10, at about 8 p.m., while a 41-year-old woman was pumping gas into her Volvo SUV at the Mobil Gas Station, 101 40th Avenue North.

Eleanor Crawford,41, walked up to the victim and deliberately ignited gasoline with a lighter. Booking photo is below.

The victim's vehicle was engulfed in flames, and the victim was seriously injured. She suffered 2nd-degree burns and was transported to Tampa General Hospital.

Officers arrested the suspect quickly just a couple of blocks away. She currently faces two arson charges.

The suspect and victim didn't know each other, and the motive is unclear at this stage of the investigation.
