The St. Petersburg Police Department invites the community to join us tomorrow night for an evening of family-friendly fun during our annual National Night Out celebration is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the parking lot of North Shore Park, 799 Bayshore Drove NE.

This free public event offers a wonderful opportunity for community members to connect with local law enforcement. Attendees can enjoy free food samples and giveaways. There will be police vehicles, a SWAT display, helicopters, and fire trucks!

All of these activities are made possible due to the support of our sponsors - The city of St. Petersburg, Duke Energy, American House St. Petersburg, Tasco, Sam's Club, Pier Events, Chili's, 7-Eleven, Rent-All City, Nintendo, and Firehouse Subs.

National Night Out offers us a chance to promote police-community partnerships, raise crime prevention awareness, and personally greet the residents we protect and serve.

Anyone with media questions, interview requests, or seeking more information about our National Night Out, please contact the Police Department's Community Awareness Division at (727) 893-7550.
