The device is being burned safely underground and it will probably take about an hour for it to burn itself out.

o injuries or damage and officers will remain on scene until it's completely clear.

After a homeowner passed away, an explosive device was found in the garage of a home at 7201 8th Street North. A photo is below.

The Tampa Bomb Squad was called to respond, and they determined it was too unstable to transport.

The Bomb Squad will bury the device in the backyard this afternoon and detonate it to render it safe.

This is on a dead-end road, and only the closest mobile homes at a nearby mobile home park will be evacuated until after the detonation.
