Command Review Board Convened

Chief Anthony Holloway convened a Command Review Board to review allegations that Officer Curtis Wright committed a domestic battery against his wife on February 15th, 2026.

Summary:
On February 15th, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested St. Petersburg Police Officer Curtis Wright on a domestic battery (misdemeanor) charge. He was on parental leave at the time and was placed on administrative leave until his criminal court proceedings and Office of Professional Standards investigations concluded.

On June 25th, the State Attorney's Office filed a No Information letter, concluding the criminal case against him.

On August 25th, the Command Review Board reviewed his case and terminated Officer Wright for violating the following City of St. Petersburg Rules and Regulations of Personnel Management System:

Curtis Wright was sworn as a St. Petersburg Police Officer on 4-10-2010. He was assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau.
