Police investigated a man reported to be walking up and peering into the windows of vehicles parked in driveways at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 9. When confronted by police officers, Cornelius Edwards ran away but was eventually arrested near 86th Avenue North and 14th Street North. His booking photo is attached.

Edwards was wearing a ski mask, gloves, and had two handguns on him. One of the handguns was stolen in a vehicle burglary the day before. He was charged with loitering and prowling, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm.

Edwards was also linked to at least six cases under investigation in the area. He was charged with:

• 2025-037527 Principal Armed Burglary to a Conveyance
• 2025-037250 Principal Burglary to a Conveyance
• 2025-037973 Principal Grand Theft Motor Vehicle
• 2025-035564 Principal Grand Theft Motor Vehicle
• 2025-036517 Principal Grand Theft Motor Vehicle

This is still under investigation, and Edwards may face additional charges.
