A 17-year-old boy in the 11th grade at Northeast High School was arrested and charged with Written Threat to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting. The student made a threatening post on social media, implying a potential shooting at the school.
St. Petersburg police make the safety of students a top priority and any weapon on campus, or other threat to school safety, will be thoroughly investigated. This serves as a reminder to students that the police department takes these matters very seriously and the consequences could be severe.
