2nd Update: Arrest in Homicide on 11th St. S.

After further investigation, detectives determined that there was no drive-by shooting.
On April 12, shortly after 11 p.m., Markus Carr was sitting in a vehicle at 2421 11th St. S., with the victim, Jaden Hill, of Largo.
Carr pointed a gun while Hill recorded him on a cell phone. Carr fired the handgun, shooting Hill.
Hill was transported to the hospital but died of his injuries.
Carr was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree murder.
Detectives are still working to determine where the gun came from and whether it was stolen.

The victim died of his injuries. He is identified as Jaden Hill, 5-17-2011, of Largo. His family was notified.
The shots came from an unknown car. There is no description on the vehicle or the suspect(s) to release at this time.
Shooting Investigation on 11th St. S.

Shortly after 11 p.m., officers were called to gunshots at 2421 11 St. S.
When they arrived they found a teenage boy in the driveway who had suffered a gunshot wound.
He was transported to the hospital with life- threatening injuries.
Detectives are currently investigating. No other details will be released this evening.
