On Thursday, April 10th at 7:00 PM, members of the community are invited to gather in front of St. Petersburg Police headquarters, 1301 1st Avenue North, for a candlelight vigil to honor the lives lost to violence.
The vigil will include remarks from Shannon Turner, who lost her son to a road rage incident, and Ellen Mullinex, who is a domestic violence survivor.
In addition to the survivor stories, a representative from Gulf Coast JFCS will be present to offer information on mental health services available to those who may need support.
We invite the public and media to join us in honoring the lives of those lost and to show support for survivors and their families.
