The victim has been identified as Justin Baumgardner (09/18/1993). The next of kin has been contacted.

Detectives have a suspect in custody and are questioning him. The two men were known to each other.

Shortly after 1 a.m. officers were called to a person shot near 300 Jefferson Circle N.

The adult man was found by the side of the street suffering from a gunshot. He was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.

A search of the area for a suspect was unsuccessful.

Detectives are currently actively investigating.
