Victim is identified as Yvonne Abernathy (DOB 12-19-98)

Also, she was shot outside her apartment, in the hallway. There is no suspect in custody at this time.

Shortly before 6a.m., police responded to a call of a person shot at the Reserve at Lake Point apartments, 5640 Lynn Lake Dr. S. A 25-year-old woman who lives at that apartment was shot.

She is deceased and the gunman is not in custody.

PIO is on the way and will meet media on 22nd St. S. adjacent to the property. Security at the apartment complex is not allowing media on the property.
