At 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 4th, a silver Nissan Altima, driven by a 36 year old woman, was traveling southbound on 34th Street North attempting to make a U-turn at 5th Avenue North to go back north on 34th Street North.

A black Harley Davidson Road Glide, driven by a 48 year old man was traveling northbound on 34th Street North.

They entered the intersection at the same time and the car crashed her front passenger side fender/bumper into the motorcycle.

The motorcycle began to skid on the ground and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle on the northeast corner of the intersection.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

He was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

His name will be released once investigators reach his next of kin.

The Altima driver stayed on the scene and was cooperative. The investigation is ongoing.
