The 14 year old victim is in critical but stable condition.

He was near 20th Ave. S. and 44th St.S, at 3:45p.m., when another group fired several shots.

He was able to get to a nearby house for help and was transported to the hospital.

Anyone with information that would help with the investigation , please call the St. Petersburg Police Dept.

Officers are at the scene of a 14-year-old boy shot at 1943 44th Street South.

The child has been transported to John Hopkins All Children's Hospital.

This is very early in the investigation. PIO Yolanda Fernandez is enroute to the scene.
