St. Petersburg Police have arrested Antonio Silvestri, 30, (DOB 04/13/1994), for doing a " burnout-style maneuver" in his vehicle on the Pride street mural at Central Avenue and 25th Street.

Silvestri was captured on video on May 17th, at 10:40 a.m., recklessly maneuvering his truck in a way to leave tire marks across the rainbow mural and causing significant damage.

He is charged with felony criminal mischief and racing on a street. His booking photo is below.

The City and volunteers restored the mural in time for Pride Month festivities.

This is still an open investigation.
