At 6 am a large branch from an oak tree broke and fell hitting two houses. Photo below.

When an adult woman came outside to check on it, a second larger branch fell on top of her pinning her on the sidewalk

Officers were able to extract her from the tree.

St. Pete Fire Rescue arrived and she was transported with non-life threatening injuries to her legs.

15th Ave. S. will be shut down between 30-31st Street for some time for the removal of the fallen tree.
