St. Petersburg Police is searching for Jacarius Courouthers, DOB 7-22-97, who is wanted for attempted felony murder. His photo is attached.

On December 23, 2023, at 6:17 p.m., Courouthers and Daemond Murray, DOB 3-28-05, fired multiple gunshots at a group walking near the 1700 block of Preston St. South. There was an exchange of gunfire and a bullet went into a nearby home, striking a woman who was on her living room couch. Her injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators arrested Daemond Murray on January 12, 2024, and charged him with attempted felony murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
