Today, the body of Juan Bueno Sanchez (10/17/1978), a commercial fisherman was recovered from the water.

On February 23rd, 2024, Bueno Sanchez's wife reported him missing after she was unable to reach him for several days. He was a commercial fisherman who was working on a shrimp boat in St. Petersburg.

In partnership with the Coast Guard and other local agencies, a search of the waterways was conducted. Fire Rescue retrieved the body from the water earlier today.

The investigation is still ongoing but no foul play is suspected.
