Arrest for December 18th Homicide

Charles Teal, DOB 9-1-78, was charged with 2nd-degree homicide in the death of 42-year-old Deon Bell.

Detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying this person of interest. He was last seen in the 1300-BLK of 34th Street South. See photo below.

The victim has been identified as Deon Bell. The next of kin has been notified.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Just after 8:30 am, officers responded to Kings Meat Market on 1345 34th St S in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, they located an adult man with a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Bayfront Health where he was pronounced dead.
