The victim has been identified as Deon Bell. The next of kin has been notified.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Just after 8:30 am, officers responded to Kings Meat Market on 1345 34th St S in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, they located an adult man with a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Bayfront Health where he was pronounced dead.
