Homicide Investigation

Just before 6pm on December 18th, officers responded to a person shot at TGM Bay Isles apartments located at 11850 Dr Martin Luther King Jr St N.

They located 15-year-old Tomohnd Newkirk with a gunshot wound. Newkirk was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers are working a death investigation at 11850 Dr Martin Luther King Jr St N.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was found with a gunshot wound and was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
