At 10:22 p.m., December 5, a 2008 Harley Davidson driven by Michael Thomas Frye Jr ,of Largo, was southbound in the 500 block of Tyrone Boulevard North.

The driver failed to negotiate the eastbound turn and struck a tree on the south side of the Intersection.

The driver and passenger were transported to the hospital.

The driver died of his injuries.

Lynn Marie Bingham from Mississippi, was a passenger on the motorcycle. She suffered life- threatening injuries and is in critical condition.

This is an ongoing investigation.
