Release posted on 10-23-23 at 3:30 p.m.

Dennis Barahona, 22, (DOB 01/04/2001) has been charged with aggravated stalking and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling after he attempted to force his way into a house near 7th Avenue North and 49th Street North.

On October 20th, at about 7:45 p.m., Barahona was seen trying to open a locked front door at the home of a woman he did not know. He then picked-up a large concrete stone and walked to the backyard of the house, where he was confronted by a neighbor. The neighbor called the police, and officers located and arrested Barahona a few blocks away. Barahona previously attempted to make contact with the same homeowner on at least two other occasions.

Also, Barahona is charged with inappropriate contact with two other women in separate recent incidents. In one case he pushed a woman and in another case he grabbed a woman from behind.
