On the evening of October 13th, a man befriended a group of young women downtown. At 1 a.m. on October 14th, Farwell invited them back to his apartment at 225 1st Avenue North, to continue socializing and swim in his pool.

While her friends were swimming in the pool, Farwell carried the victim back to the apartment and sexually assaulted her.

The victim was able to escape and call police.

• Alec Farwell, DOB 4-10-89, was charged with sexual battery.
