On the evening of October 13th, a man and a woman befriended a group of young women downtown. At 1 a.m. on October 14th, the couple invited them back to their apartment at 225 1st Avenue North, to continue socializing and swim in their pool.

While her friends were swimming in the pool, the male suspect carried the victim back to the apartment. The woman assisted in holding down the victim while the man sexually assaulted her.

The victim was able to escape and call police.

• Alec Farwell, DOB 4-10-89, was charged with sexual battery.
• Gracie Mowery, DOB 3-21-97, was charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment.
