Come join us for an evening of family-friendly events during our National Night Out celebration outside Tyrone Square from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in the mall parking lot at 6901 22nd Ave. N.
We will have free food, giveaways, family fun, and plenty of other activities hosted by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
In addition, you can expect visits by McGruff, the crimefighting dog, and our superhero police dogs and police horses - Storm and Hero.
There will be a bike rodeo, a SWAT display, and police vehicle and fire truck exhibits.
And you also don't want to miss a visit from the Rays, Buccaneers, Rowdies and Lightning.
All these activities are made possible due to support of our sponsors - The city of St. Petersburg, the Police Benevolence Association, Tyrone Square, Walmart Health, Duke Energy, Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, FDOT, Sam's Club, BayCare, St. Anthony's Hospital and Coca Cola.
National Night Out offers us a chance to promote police-community partnerships, raise crime prevention awareness, and personally greet the residents we protect and serve.
Anyone with questions, interview requests, or seek more information about our National Night Out, please contact the Police Department's Community Awareness Division at (727) 893-7550.
