At 11:43 p.m. last night, June 7th, Savarion Miller (DOB 05/24/2000) fired at an officer who was in an unmarked vehicle at the intersection of 14th Avenue South and 35th Street South. The officer was not injured and the officer was able to drive off. The officer did not return fire.

The suspect fled the scene and later crashed his vehicle at the intersection of 38th Avenue North and 21st Street North. Officers in the area were able to locate and arrest Miller.

Miller is being charged with:

• Attempted Murder in 1st Degree
• Driving While Driver's License Suspended/Revoked
• Reckless Driving with Property Damage or Injury
• Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Property Damage

The investigation is still ongoing.
