Forfeiture Fund Applications Accepted Through August

Need funding for a community program? The St. Petersburg Police Department is now accepting applications for its annual Forfeiture Grant Program.

The purpose of the program is to provide financial support to neighborhood groups, associations, agencies, and non-profit organizations holding a 501c3 or 501c4 designation. The funds are intended to support projects or programs that address at least one of the following areas of concern in St. Petersburg:

The asset forfeiture funds come from the seizure of money/assets involved in criminal activity.

Once the Chief of Police and his committee select the recipients, the checks will be presented at a ceremony later this year.
