At 6:40 p.m., Monday, February 20th, officers responded to 860 9th Avenue South for a woman who had been stabbed. Mary Colon-Wright (DOB 8-17-71) died of her injuries.

A suspect, Jasmine Sephus (12-12-90), was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder. Her booking photo is attached.

The two women were known to each other. They became involved in a verbal dispute, and Sephus fatally stabbed Colon-Wright.
