St. Petersburg Police will be shopping for holiday gifts with 76 children at Walmart, 3501 34th Street South, from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. this evening and again Saturday, 9 a.m. - noon.

Thanks to the generosity of a special donor, the Aresty Family Foundation, since 2017 officers have been able to provide hundreds of needy children toys and clothing! This year Officers will shop with 92 children.

Not only will the Police Dept. enjoy providing the children and their families with a merrier holiday season, but it also provides for a wonderful opportunity to build a positive connection between officers and children.
