Floodwaters have receded and most city of St.Petersburg streets are fully open to traffic except for Shore Acres and Snell Isle.

Sections of 62nd Avenue North and 22nd Avenue North used to drive into those areas are underwater and about 60% of streets in Shore Acres and Snell Isle still remain flooded.

However, officers will now begin to allow residents in elevated vehicles back on the island. They must show proof that they live in the neighborhood.
