Preliminary St. Petersburg Morning Report

Release posted on 09-29-22 at 6:43 a.m.

Early reports : St. Petersburg did not appear to have suffered significant damage from Hurricane Ian at this time. We have reports of numerous downed trees and power lines. Push teams will head out at daylight to remove debris from downed trees from main roadways and access to hospitals, etc. We will have a more accurate count of downed trees and power lines later today. For power outages, please check with Duke Energy.

Here is what is confirmed:

We ask residents to please stay off the roads today as crews clear power lines and trees and until we can restore power to traffic signals.
