Homicide Investigation

Release posted on 10-20-22 at 3:59 p.m.

The victim is identified as : Deborah Ann Haugh (DOB 12-16-1951) deceased.

The suspect is identified as: Tracy Lee Lukanic (male DOB 02-07-1965) deceased.

Through the investigation it was discovered that the victim's boyfriend, Tracy Lee Lukanic, had committed suicide by jumping off the top floor of the Sundial parking garage at 117 2nd St. N. earlier this morning.

A 70 year old woman failed to meet a friend for a planned meeting . They were concerned for her welfare and asked maintenance to check her condo at 300 Beach Dr. N.E. They entered and found the victim.

At 1p.m., officers received a call about a suspicious death. Upon arrival, officers determined the 70 year old woman died from violent trauma.

Detectives believe that the suspect is known to the victim. This was not a random act and there is no threat to the community.

The release of the name of the victim is pending the notification of next of kin. This case is still under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Shortly after 1 p.m., police began investigating the suspicious death of a woman found in a condo at the Parkshore Plaza Condo, 300 Beach Drive NE.

The case is currently being investigated as a homicide.
