St. Petersburg Fugitive Featured on TV Show and $25,000 Reward

A St. Petersburg murder suspect, Benjamin "Bambi" Williams, who is still at large, will be featured this Wednesday, November 9, 2022 9/8c on the show In Pursuit with John Walsh on Investigation Discovery (ID). The episode will also stream on discovery+.

St. Petersburg Police Detectives are using this opportunity to refocus public attention on the search for Williams. He is wanted for shooting his former girlfriend, Joana Peca, in front of her young children on July 31st, 2021. She was holding their (Williams) baby at the time and her other young child was in the back seat.

Today, detectives spent the day handing out flyers asking the public for information on his whereabouts. The Wanted flyer is attached.

There is a $25,000 reward offered for information leading to his arrest. Please call 1-877-926-8332 with tips or information. Reward money is provided by the United States Marshals Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County.
