Homicide Investigation

Arrested: Jeffery Tillman DOB 12-30-1983 (corrected DOB)
Victim: Deno Conley DOB 12-23-1956

Jeffery Tillman was hired by the owner of the house at 3410 38th St. N. to work on some renovations. Deno Conley was a longtime acquaintance of Tillman. When Conley went to the house to see Tillman, Tillman stabbed him.

At 1:20 p.m., May 17th, police responded to a call about a suspicious circumstance at the house and discovered Conley deceased in the garage.

Investigators learned that Tillman had contacts in Clearwater and alerted Clearwater Police. Clearwater Police located Tillman at 6:41 p.m. and arrested him.

Jeffery Tillman , DOB 12-29-83, has been arrested and charged with the 1st degree murder of a man found deceased in the garage of a home at 3410 38th Street North earlier today.

Tillman had been working on renovations at the house. He was arrested this evening with the assistance of Clearwater Police.

The name of the victim hasn't been confirmed yet. More information will be released as it becomes available Wednesday.
