The next of kin was notified. Efrain Espinosa Jr (12/11/1982) was driving the motorcycle.

Location: 38th Avenue North & 34th Street North

At 10:30 p.m., Friday , May 6, A black Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 39 year old man was eastbound on 38th Avenue North, approaching 34th Street North. A red Chevy Traverse was westbound on 38th Avenue North, approaching 34th Street North. The Traverse made a left turn onto 34th Street North into the motorcycle's path of travel and he crashed into the front passenger corner of the Traverse.

The motorcycle driver was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was pronounced dead. His name will be released once we reach next of kin.

The other driver suffered no injuries and was released from the crash scene after talking to investigators. This crash is still under investigation.
