At 6:35 a.m. a dump truck was traveling southbound on 28th Street North. A pedestrian, John McDougal (DOB 02/01/1968), was crossing the street from east to west when he was struck by the dump truck. McDougal was pronounced deceased at the scene and next of kin was notified.

The driver stopped at the scene and is cooperating with officers. The investigation is still on-going.

At 6:38 a.m., a man was hit by a hauling truck at Halkey Roberts PI (102 Avenue North) and 28th Street North. The victim is deceased at the scene. The intersection is closed to traffic for the investigation.
