At 9:10 p.m. on June 12th, a black 2018 Chrysler Pacifica was southbound in the curb lane of 34th Street South. The pedestrian was crossing 34th Street South in the 4600 block, from east to west. Once he entered the southbound curb lane, he was struck by the Chrysler Pacifica.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The male victim was transported to Bayfront Health where he was pronounced dead. Next of kin has not been notified.
All lanes of 34th Street North have been reopened and regular traffic may continue.
This is still an ongoing investigation. Additional information will be release as it becomes available.

At 9:10 p.m., a vehicle hit a man in the 4600 block of 34th Street South. The man was transported to the hospital and was pronounced deceased.
The driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation. All lanes of 34th Street North are closed near 46th Avenue North for the investigation.
