Fire Investigation

Release posted on 07-02-22 at 1:23 p.m.

At 10:17 AM this morning, the police department was called to assist with the investigation of a fire at the Uhuru House, 1291 18th Ave S.

A flag on a flagpole and some nearby palm trees were set on fire. There was no damage to anything else and no one was hurt.

Detectives are investigating and working to identify a suspect. No other information is available at this time.
