On February 18th, 2022, at 11:00p.m., a 2009 Honda motorcycle, driven by Soulaymen Mhidra (10/08/95, St Pete) was westbound on 38th Avenue North in the curb lane at a high rate of speed. At the intersection of 45th Street North, the motorcycle went down onto its right side and struck a wooden sign in front of Clearview Church. No other vehicle was involved.

Mhidra was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in critical condition and pronounced deceased shortly after arriving. This case is still under investigation.
