Sexual Battery Suspect Arrest

St. Petersburg Police detectives arrested Cortiz Flowers, DOB 10-12-1999, for numerous charges involving a sexual battery and robbery. Booking photo is attached.

On November 30th, Flowers offered a woman a ride home from the gas station at 1501 34th St. South. After driving to the Clam Bayou area, he sexually assaulted her at gunpoint, robbed her and threatened her life.

In an earlier incident on November 3rd, Flowers robbed a man and struck him in the head, causing him to lose consciousness. While the victim was lying on the ground, Flowers took his wallet and cash.

Flowers was arrested with the assistance of the Pinellas Sheriff's Office. He also faces charges in Clearwater for an unrelated incident.

St. Petersburg Police charges are:

  1. Robbery (strong arm)
  2. Robbery (deadly weapon or firearm)
  3. Aggravated assault
  4. Sexual battery
  5. Felon in possession of a firearm
