A black 2013 Buick Rendezvous, driven by 17 year old Nikia Killens (11/24/2004, St Petersburg, FL), was traveling eastbound on 11th Avenue South.
Passengers in the vehicle were 14-year-old Shaariyah Brown (04/28/2008, St Petersburg, FL), and 18-year-old Brice Lewis (03/02/2004, St Petersburg, FL).
Killens drove off the roadway and crashed into a power pole in the 4200 block of 11th Avenue South.
Killens was transported to John Hopkins All Children's Hospital with minor injuries. Brown was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where she was pronounced dead. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is still on going.

At 12:45 am, police responded to a single vehicle crash in the 4200 block of 11th Avenue South where an SUV hit a pole.
Two people died of their injuries and a third person was critically injured.
11th Avenue South is closed at 42nd St. for the investigation. Further details will be released later today as they become available.
