Reward for Information on Two Homicides

Release posted on 04-12-22 at 6:47 p.m.

St. Petersburg Police is asking the public for information on the separate shooting deaths of two men and is offering a reward of up to $5000 for information on each of the homicides through Crime Stoppers.

Photos of the two victims are attached.

  1. Vernon Williams, age 60, died early Sunday, April 10, of a gunshot wound, in the 900 block of Melrose Avenue South.
  2. Corlenzo Williams, age 24, died early this morning, April 12,of a gunshot wound, in the 2900 block of 17th Avenue South.

There does not appear to be any known association or link between the two victims and investigators believe both shootings were unprovoked.
