Following the Rays' game Tuesday, September 20, two fans engaged in a verbal argument in parking lot 6 at Tropicana Field. It led to a physical altercation that then led to the suspect retrieving a knife from his car and stabbing the victim in the side. The suspect attempted to leave the scene, however, baseball police traffic units were able to detain him.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury.
