Both suspects, who are brothers, were charged with Attempted Homicide.

In addition, Robert Walker had an outstanding warrant for Auto Theft out of Hillsborough County. He was alsocharged with Violation of Probation for a previous Armed Robbery charge which was also out of our agency (2018-027946).

Other charges are pending.

Around 1:15 pm today officers saw two men opened fire on vehicles near Fairfield Ave. S and 44th St. S. The pair fled in a car.

Officers pursued the vehicle and two suspects were taken into custody near the intersection of Dartmouth Ave. N and 58th St. N.

No one was injured. An investigation into the shooting is underway.
