St. Petersburg Police are on the scene of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. It happened at 8:15p.m., on 34th Street South and 3rd Avenue South.

The victim, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation.

All lanes of 34th Street South will be closed near 3rd Avenue South for several hours for the investigation.

The investigation is continuing.
