As a result of the investigation, additional information came to light and the charge against Damien Knight has been changed from manslaughter to 2nd Degree murder.

Tuesday evening, May 11, at 7 p.m., Police responded to a call of a suspicious death at 3460 24th Avenue South, Apt. 22. They found Richard John Trembly (DOB: 04-22-1963), deceased in his bedroom. He suffered apparent head trauma.

After investigating, detectives arrested his roommate, Damien Knight, (DOB 8-4-1965) AKA Craig Hammerly, and charged him with manslaughter just before midnight. His booking photo is attached.

Investigators determined the two men had a physical altercation leading to Trembly's injuries and death.
